Product details

FD140 is a 4-port E1/T1/BRI failover device. It effectively protects against unpredictable problems that may occur with the Asterisk PBX. It provides an effective way to back up the Asterisk PBX when an undesired change is detected (often when Asterisk fails or the system is powered off).

FD142 provides a reliable and flexible solution for the Asterisk PBX.

FD142 is controlled via a module loaded in Asterisk res_failover.so. This module continuously sends the “running” signal to the redundant server while Asterisk is running. When Asterisk is stopped or system power is cut, the module can no longer send the “running” signal to FD142, which automatically switches over to the redundant server.
