OpenVox VS-GW1202 V1 GSM Wireless Gateway

OpenVox VoxStack Series GSM Gateway is the first Asterisk-based open-source VoIP GSM gateway solution for SMEs and SOHOs. With a user-friendly graphical interface and unique modular design, users can easily configure their customized gateway. Secondary development can also be performed via AMI.

There are three GSM gateway models in the VoxStack series: VS-GW1202, VS-GW1600 and VS-GW2120. The new VS-GW1202-8G GSM gateway, with its modular design, can accommodate up to 2 GSM gateway modules, supporting 4 or 8 GSM channels and 2 Ethernet ports. It is designed to interconnect a wide selection of codecs, including G.711A, G.711U, G.729, G.722, G.723, G.726 & GSM, with GSM cellular networks to quickly reduce telecommunication costs and maximize savings. Thanks to its unique design, the VoxStack gateway supports hot-swapping of SIM cards and GSM gateway modules. Users can simply add or remove modules for expansion or hardware replacement. Each GSM gateway module runs an independent Asterisk system.

The VoxStack gateway is equipped with a LAN switch card that enables stacking during hardware upgrades. It supports sending and receiving SMS, bulk sending, and SMS-to-email conversion. GSM gateways use the standard SIP protocol and are compatible with IMS/NGN, IPPBX platforms and SIP servers, supporting most VoIP platforms such as Asterisk, Elastix, 3CX, FreeSWITCH, Broadsoft, etc.
