OpenVox VoxStack Series 3G（WCDMA）Gateway is the first Asterisk-based open-source 3G VoIP gateway solution for SMEs and SOHOs. With a user-friendly graphical interface and a unique modular design, users can easily configure their customized gateway. Secondary development can also be carried out via AMI.

There are three VoxStack 3G gateway models: the VS-GW1202 Series, the VS-GW1600 Series, and the VS-GW2120 Series. The modular 3G gateways range from 4 to 44 3G/UMTS channels and are developed to interconnect a wide selection of codecs, including G.711A, G.711U, G.729, G.722, G.723, G.726 & GSM. With a 3G-to-VoIP gateway connection, they can quickly reduce telecommunication costs and maximize savings. Thanks to the unique VoxStack gateway design, hot-swapping of SIM cards and 3G gateway modules is supported. Users can simply add or remove modules for expansion or hardware replacement. Each 3G gateway module runs an independent Asterisk system.

The VoxStack gateway is equipped with a LAN switch card that allows stacking when upgrading the hardware. It supports sending and receiving SMS, bulk sending, and SMS-to-email conversion. The 3G gateways use the standard SIP protocol and are compatible with leading IMS/NGN platforms, IPPBX systems, and SIP servers, supporting most VoIP operating platforms such as Asterisk, Elastix, 3CX, FreeSWITCH, Broadsoft, etc.
