The innovative OpenVox V100 transcoding card features the industry's first PCI & PCI-E form-factor design on a single card and is designed for superior voice quality in low- or high-density systems!

Due to their low bandwidth requirements, voice data compression codecs such as G.729AB, G.726, AMR, G.722.1, iLBC, GSM, etc. are commonly used in VoIP applications. The G.711 codec is used in legacy networks. For TDM-to-VoIP connection, Codec transcoding is required. Compared with software transcoding, the DSP-based V100 card can convert more transcoding sessions, reducing the host server's CPU load.

The V100 card is designed to handle up to 32/64/128/256/400 Codec transcoding sessions without additional license fees1.

The V100 card can operate as a PCI / PCI-E form factor on a single card. The V100 is suitable for normal or low-profile PCI applications, and can provide PCI/PCI-E/RJ45/media/control stream paths. These features help reduce costs and support flexible applications. The V100 can be used with Asterisk® and FreeSWITCH®.
